Weekend with Maggie

CC and D planned a big time for their girls last weekend.  They drove halfway to Nashville to get Maggie and I dropped Baylee off on Friday and they had the whole weekend together!!!  It just happened to be my birthday weekend, so Chad and I had the house to ourselves!  What a treat!!!

The girls had such a great time together swimming, playing and laughing!!  Thank you CC and D for loving them sooooo much!!!  From the looks of the pictures below, they had a blast!!  All the pics are on the gallery, but these were my favorite.

Dancing Coach was proud

Chad has always been teaching Baylee how to dance.  I am sure you have seen him take her hands and make her dance....doing all the club style dances.  You might want to check out the end of my Miller Talent Show entry http://deatondays.blogspot.com/2008/12/famous-christmas-talent-show.html to get a taste of what he does.  My husband keeps us laughing!

Anyway, the other day she was dancing with Elmo and began to poke her lips out.  She eventually gave her version of the "sprinkler" dance that Chad always does with her.  Chad was so proud...take a look!

It is sooooo hot here and Baylee is going swimming everyday with Nana just to stay cooled off!! We decided to get her toes ready for the summer heat and then she looked at her hand and looked at me as if to say, "what about these, mommie??"  She is just a little too fancy with hot pink nails!!

My big girl

I cannot believe my little girl is so big!  I looked at her just today and thought how quickly the time is passing....she will be 2 years old in August!!  She has grown so much and is talking like a big girl.  Here are a few pics of her....just being Baylee!!

Here lately, she loves looking at pictures of herself....not sure why she is in my laundry basket!

I have been trying and trying to catch this on video and finally got it today!  I cannot believe she is 22 months old....it is going so fast!  Enjoy Baylee's rendition of this familiar song.  We added a few things, from verses to shoes!

Baylee affectionately calls her cousin Maggie the name Gaggie.  How sweet is this??

A weekend with the girls

Chad and I got to keep our nieces Brenly and Avery for the weekend!  We had such a fun time - we went to Chucky Cheese and played games and bought some super cute cups as you can see! On Saturday, we had pancakes and movies then headed to the YMCA to swim.  On Sunday, we set up the pool in the backyard and the girls splashed for hours!
