My child
Nana relayed a funny story to me about Baylee's knowledge of pumps. Baylee has a ball that is losing air and Opa, Nana's husband, told her that they needed to pump some air into it. He asked her if her daddy had a pump and she said "No, but my mommy does." Oh the things she learns..........

My little helper
Baylee is adjusting pretty good to having a little brother. She loves to hold him, feed him, sing to him - you name it! Although, the other morning, she woke up and came through and saw me holding Ty...walked straight to daddy and was sad. Chad asked her what was wrong and she just buried her head into the pillows. Chad asked her if mommy hurt her feelings and she shook her head no. Did daddy make you sad? She shook her head no. Daddy asked if baby Ty made her sad and she nodded yes and buried her head in the pillow.....awww, my heart broke for her!!
She will always come with me to pump cause that is our alone time! She asks me all the time "Mommy, do you need to pump?" Sweet girl.... Another funny thing is while I am pumping, she asks "What are you doing?" I reply, " Getting milk for baby Ty." She asks, in her cute little voice, "from you booooob?" I just nod and smile. My precious little girl!!

Made it home!
We made it home on Thursday...well Chad, Ty and I did. My poor Baylee decided to get sick in the early am hours while she was staying with CC and D. Apparently, she got the stomach bug and kept the whole house up in the bathroom or with a bucket..my poor mother!! Anyway, we did not think it wise to have a sick child who would need her mommy at all times to be there on the first night we introduced Ty to our home, so she stayed with CC and the rest of us got adjusted.
Ty did pretty good his first night - he wanted to make sure we knew he had arrived as he was awake from about 11:30 till 2 yelling out to the neighborhood that he was home! He finally decided to let us rest though....
Baylee arrived Friday afternoon and made a bee line for Ty -skipping past me!!! She has loved on him, sang to him, protected him and is now wondering why he does not wake up to play with her! She is adjusting to having another small one in the house as her independent self is all of a sudden not so independent. She needs help or supervision with a lot more than what she needed last week....hmmm....i wonder why!! For the most part, things are going pretty smoothly!

Precious
I usually run from the camera right now but I could not resist getting a few shots as Baylee is always kissing the "baby in mommy's tummy." Not much longer as we will be having baby this Monday, April 19. We are to be there at noon and my section is scheduled for 2:00 at Baptist Women's!! I am a blessed woman!

You are my Sunshine
Baylee loves to sing as you know. She has now learned "You are my Sunshine," which was my Memaw's favorite song to sing to me. I use to sing it to Baylee every night when she was a baby and now she sings it to me. What a sweet sound!
Nursery Rhymes
Baylee has been learning all kinds of nursery rhymes at Nana's to teach the baby...here is her version of "Hey Diddle Diddle." Chad had to fill me in on the actual rhyme cause I could not remember it. It goes "Hey Diddle Diddle, the cat and the fiddle. The cow jumped over the moon. The little dog laughed to see such a sport. And the dish ran away with the spoon." That doesn't make a lick of sense, but Baylee can quote it!
