Halloween in our neighborhood is quite festive! We asked Ray, Kim, and the girls to join us this year as well as having CC and D over. We had a great time and this was Baylee's first year to go door to door trick or treating!

Granddaddy TIme
Granddaddy decided to come in town for Halloween weekend. Chad's grandfather, his mom's dad, will be 95 in December. He lives by himself and still drives!!! Baylee loves him to death and just crawls up into his lap to cuddle. We had a great time!

Surgery Day
Today began at 6:00 in the Deaton household. Baylee spent the night with CC and D and had a blast while Chad, Ty and I headed to the LeBonheur Surgery Center. I had previously met with the anesthesiologist who informed me that Ty would have a shot to calm him down, an IV started, some gas to put his to sleep as well as an ET tube down his throat in order to remove the skin tag on his ear. I cringed!!! Why so much??????
Praise God he only had to get the shot and the gas - no IV and no ET tube!!! YEAH!!! He woke up in recovery and smiled! We were in recovery for about 30 minutes. He was able to take his bottle, have cereal and apples! He was so happy! The doctor said the tag was very superficial and everything went well!
It was like nothing was done this morning! We are at home playing!!!

Happy 6 months!!
Ty turned 6 months October 19 and is so big! He has not gotten his 6 month check up so I am not sure of his stats but I KNOW he is a big baby!!!! He is rolling over and even sleeping on his stomach just because he wants to! He thinks he can sit up, but not really! He loves apples, bananas, pears, peaches, squash, carrots, and rice cereal. Love this baby!

Costumes
Baylee has had a lot of fun with her wardrobe here lately. First, she had an 80's party for her friend that she dressed up for and then school had a cowgirl day today. She is wondering if this is how it every October before Halloween....I assured her it wasn't!!!
Fun with Ty
My little boy is almost 6 months!! He loves his exersaucer but not the jumperoo for some reason. He still likes his activity mat but not the bouncy anymore. His favorite toy is his football taggie that daddy got for him the week he was born. He can play with it while in his crib in the morning while I get dressed and ready for work!! He loves his bath and goes to sleep around 7 pm and wakes up for the day around 7 am and is doing so much better with sleeping through the night. We will hear him every now and then but he is finally able to get himself back to sleep!! And he LOVES his big sister - she can always make him laugh and smile!
I am sure he is thinking, "if only she knew that one day i will pay her back!"

He did it!!
Ty has been working on his rolling from his back to his stomach for some time now! He has rolled from his stomach to his back a while ago, but had no interest in going this way. He had done it for Nana but not me and today he finally performed. I made him do it again for the camera!

Halloween Preview
Baylee is quite obsessed with Toy Story and LOVES Jessie!! She had already decided that she wanted to be Jessie for Halloween and Nana found us the costume at Kohl's of all places! Once we knew what Baylee was going to be, it was a no brainer of deciding what Ty should be! However, Baylee is very concerned about who is going to be Bullseye, "Buzz Like Year" as she calls him and "Sticky Pete" instead of Stinky Pete!! Not sure I will be pulling off any of those characters!!!
