Sip and See

What an amazing day!!! So many people came out to Kim's to see Ty - I was overwhelmed! All the little girls who came decided to have a princess parade of fashion that you will see below. It was a great sip and see and Ty received some great things!!!

It has been so nice to be home to treasure these precious moments!! Baylee and Ty are doing so well! Baylee has turned into a little mom and Ty is sleeping better and better!

CC tennis lesson

Chad and Baylee were shopping at Walmart and Baylee spotted a tennis racquet! Of course, Chad got it for her with some kid tennis balls and she loves it! CC came over and gave her a tennis lesson and she hits it every time!!!!

Family Outing

Loading up the whole family to get to the YMCA was an event last night, but we made it! Baylee had her heart set on going swimming in her new swimsuit and new flip flops! She did so good using her floaties - she "swam" all over the pool without holding to daddy and was able to float on her back without daddy holding on!! We were so proud of her!!! Ty was watching his sister for a little while but then he got bored!!

Happy 4 week birthday Ty!

Yesterday made 4 weeks - it is flying by!!! Ty is doing pretty good! He is now eating about every 4 hours which is an improvement as he was eating every 2 1/2 and sometimes 2! I was struggling to keep up with him! He still has a fussy stage in the am hours - he fights to not sleep so much more than Baylee - not sure where he gets that from! He loves his swing and jungle bouncy seat and his favorite place to sleep is his papasan - a comfy chair that Uncle Richie and Aunt Christy gave to Baylee. He has a lot of gas and does not like to lie flat very much! He is sleeping in his crib at night - he did not take too much to the bassinet. He is like his daddy and wants a better mattress!

He is growing like a weed - the last time we weighed him he was more than his original birthweight and is growing some pretty light hair - Chad is beginning to wonder what the mailman looks like! HA!!! Baylee had such dark hair like Chad, but Ty has really light brown hair! His eyes are still blue - hope they don't change, but you never know. We can't really decide who he looks like - some say Chad's father, some say my dad and some say me :) You can decide.........

Trial Run

So, life has changed with 2 children. The other day, Chad had a doctor's appointment at 7:45 am, so it was up to me to get the kids up and out the door. My goal was to be at Nana's by 9:00, which is a fair goal when I am working. Well, I was out the door and loaded in the car by 8:57. I was able to get Baylee dressed, fixed her lunch, pump and get Ty fed and changed. YEA!! However, I left with no shower, still in pj's and not a stitch of make-up and Baylee did not get breakfast!!

Another trial run was the other day when I was meeting a friend of mine for lunch to introduce Ty and for her to see Baylee again. I was able to manage a shower and make-up cause Chad was there to help me! Thankfully, I had asked my mom if she wanted to join us for lunch! I am not sure how I would have gotten the diaper bag, carrier, Baylee's hand and myself into the restaurant. And of course, Ty wanted to be fed the second we sat down, Baylee needed to potty and I needed to get to the counter to order some food! My mom fed Ty, I ordered food and totally forgot to order for Baylee! I wasn't even able to hold a conversation with my friend because I was telling Baylee to eat 1/2 of my sandwich before her chips, trying to burp Ty and wishing I had put my hair in a ponytail cause I was so hot!!!!!!!!!

Today, I did better. Chad had to be a church early and this was my first time to get back to church with the kids. I woke up at 8:00 and was able to leave the house with everything done, pumped and fed and dressed and made it to church early by 10:45!!! Can't believe it!! Surely I can get this down to at least 2 hours before I start back to work! Luckily, I will have Chad in the mornings for awhile to help!!!! My patients do not want to see me in my pjs!!

I was watching Glee - my favorite TV show right now and Baylee gets up and starts to dance away to one of the songs...it is a little dark, but hopefully you can see her moves...reminds me of James Brown!

Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day! My wonderful husband gave me a beautiful necklace that has a circle for Ty, a circle for Baylee and 3 diamonds to represent Bay, Ty and him. I also got to sleep in this morning - a gift that is treasured so much more nowadays! We headed to CC's and celebrated all day with the family....then headed to visit with Kim. I had a wonderful day....

Baylee has adjusted well to having a little brother pretty well. She is very protective of him and always lets us know when Ty is upset by saying, "Ty not happy momma." I have been taking pictures as often as I can so that Ty can have some sort of baby book. I always give my mom a hard time cause I do not remember ever seeing a baby book for me....the second child syndrome!!! I have a few pics below.......
